Howdy folks,

Just a short note to ask that you support Debbie's latest CD release as well as her other hits. Her Music Ministry has been a blessing to thousands throughout her ministry. Her contact is with her testimony. Deb and I go back MANY, many years and we have had one of her songs on our festival site for many many years as well. Actually, we were looking for a certain song that God wanted us to place on our "Memory Lane page" and He sent us Deb, with love. Check out this awesome and powerful song of God's love.......thanks Deb!

Be Blessed.

Your Ministry site host,

Bob Olynyk

Debbie Bergeron 2020 Testimony

I never thought that I’d share this, I am quite a private person. You know that, don’t air dirty laundry thing.

But I believe GOD wants me to share as it might help someone else.

I always considered myself someone a strong independent person, who got things done. I had a plan, worked towards the goal and conquered obstacles, completed the task. Regardless of whether it was a success or lesson. I am also a romantic who thought it would be a fresh start, an adventure in life.

Selling, taking care of the our home in Hope, while my husband was in Alberta, driving back and forth to Alberta, regardless of winter weather with my dog and then finding a house and Moving to a new province, making a home. setting up my music business and trying to introduce myself. Well I did just that 7 years ago. But then 5 years ago, something happened that I never would have expected to happen.

I started to feel excruciating pain in my back. The pain then travelled up my back into my jaws. It got so bad that I couldn't stand or walk or talk or sing for very long. I thought it was all over for me.

I went to the doctor who ordered an MRI which took 11 months. The results showed nothing wrong. I went for x-ray’s and again nothing. I thought that I might be deficient in vitamins, iron or what ever, but nothing. My hair was thinning and I gained a lot of weight. I fought all my life with weight and to give my clothes away, meant I failed. I was so tired all the time.

Everyday I prayed for GOD to heal me. Let me be able to sing.

Music brought and still brings me such joy. It truly is a blessing to me. The whole time, GOD granted me to write and write for HIM. I was able to get into the studio and a couple songs at a time, record my songs. Depression set in and even though I tried hard to fight it, it was taking over my life. I shut down. I am so thankful I have a husband who took over. He shopped, cleaned and cooked and tried his best to cheer me up.

Then 2 years ago, my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer of the pancreas. Mom and dad live on Vancouver Island, and it meant flying home to visit as often as I could. I had my arsenal of pain killers and back spray. I think, thinking more about mom then myself was a good thing. I treasure each and every moment with her. Mom passed Jan 24 2019 and saying goodbye was the toughest thing I have ever had to do. Though I know she's at home with the LORD, I miss her so much.

I stayed with my dad for a month. I think that we needed each other in our mourning.

In April, I released a single called The Rain Came Down to the US. It began charting in May and is continuing to chart and is climbing. This Feb, it is number 53 in the Christian Voice magazine.

Then in June, we almost lost dad. It's a miracle that he's still with us. He had low chances of survival for a spinal surgery and if he did survive, he would be paralysed. Well he lives and is not paralysed. GOD is so good.

In June, the tiredness got much worse and I was sleeping more than I was awake at times and months went by.

July, my husband was laid off from his job. Didn't see that coming. EI, so stressful though grateful to have it.

Sept, I started physio therapy. The first day, I was in tears just walking a short distance to the door. By the end of Sept, I was stronger.

I flew out to stay with dad in Oct and we helped each other. Again, thinking about dad instead of myself helped.

But day by day, over the course of 2019, I started to feel less pain, I could stand longer, walk a little farther, and I could sing a little more.

Dec. 2019, GOD told me to release my gospel songs on a CD and release to the world. Debbie Bergeron Gospel was launched. He opened a door to help bring me back. I did this very quietly without fanfare.

Now it's February 2020, I am doing better by the day, though the pain is still there in my back, it's not as intense.

GOD knows how to write a song. I thank HIM everyday for allowing me to work with HIM.

Songs on the CD are songs inspired by loved ones, their passing’s, knowing GOD is beside me.

My Praise for HIM and I am so grateful HE's in my life.

I've learned that when one door closes another one opens. Hard ships are brought into life to teach us lessons. Perhaps causing us to change our directions with GOD's not so subtle nudging.

Even after all these things happening in my life, I am still smiling. I am grateful to be alive, life is a gift and feeling blessed that GOD feels that I have something to share with you all.
